Common questions
Do our existing sensors work with Misamtek?
Almost certainly. Misamtek reads from the standard channels equipment already exposes - OPC UA, Modbus TCP, MQTT, Sparkplug B - and can ingest via REST for anything else. For proprietary sensor endpoints we offer an edge gateway.
What sensor sampling rates are supported?
From 1 Hz on slow thermal channels up to several kHz on vibration. Most equipment is well covered by mid-hundred-Hz sampling on vibration and 1-10 Hz on temperature and pressure.
How long is data retained?
Native-resolution retention starts at 30 days on Starter and 1 year on Growth. Enterprise retention is configurable per channel. Downsampled rollups are kept far longer across all tiers.
Are contracts monthly or annual?
Starter and Growth are billed monthly with no commitment. Enterprise contracts are annual and negotiable on term length.
Can we run Misamtek on-prem?
An on-prem edge gateway is available on Enterprise for facilities that require sensor data to stay inside the plant network. Anomaly detection and diagnostics run on the edge in that mode.
